CONTENTS PAGE LAYOUT

During the process of deciding the style of the contents page I wanted to have, I made a few drawings to help me decided at which design I though looked best. These sketches helped me to determine layouts of the contents page massively, to see which style of layout looked the best. The final design I decided upon was number 2 as I though it was the most simplistic approach which my magazine follows. I also think it looks the neatest layed out and isn't too cramped.

After creating a draft on the computer on my contents page, I found that it did not follow the rules of thirds and I may have to change the design. After printing off different pages of the drawing and sketching over them to change the design slightly, I decided I still wanted to stick with the same design. Therefore; I created changes on publisher by copying and pasting different aspects of the drawings to fit the rule of thirds and so that all the images and wording was floating. The 'Contents' and the first picture were both moved now and the bottom picture was moved up slightly. The writing of the content for the magazine will be fitted similarly to the original design.
