CLOTHES ICONOGRAPHY

Snapbacks are very fashionable in the rap/hip-hop culture. This makes the rappers different to artists in other genres of music.

Artists within the rap industry often wear a lot of jewellery which again makes them different to other genres as they stand out.

Plain t-shirts are fashionable for rappers as they represent simplicity which is something that most rappers often have. The plain white t-shirt would work well with any form of jewellery.

Dark bomber jackets are coming back into fashion recently and more and more rappers are wearing them, This would look good for my model with the white shirt or without.

I will be using these sunglasses on my model because they are a fashionable pair of sunglasses that rappers are often seen wearing. They will look good along with the hat and the rest of the clothing. They help to hide the rappers identity which is often what rappers do.

This is the snapback I will be using, it is a branded NY one which is often what rappers wears. Also, the colour will work well with the white tshirt and also the contrasting black bomber jacket. The image above shows 50 cent wearing the branded NY snapback.

This is the necklace I will be making my model wear, because it will suit well with the rest of the outfit. It is quite a distinctive piece of jewellery which would be noticable; which is what I am aiming for.

I will be using this bomber jacket from River Islandas more and more rappers are wearing them and they are becoming very fashionable for them. This will also look good with the white tshirt that I will be making my model wear.
