FONT RESEARCH

During this research into the font and colour to use for the contents page, I tested the different default colours first of all, I decided that blue was potentially the best colour and tried out the different types of blue for the first letter.  However, during the process of testing the blue I felt it did not match the colours within the front page so moved to green where I also looked at the different colours of green for the first letter.

During this process of researching fonts, I stayed with the green colour and tested out a darker 'C' while the rest of the letters were a light green.  At first I  thought this combination would work but as I got further down the research I began to make the letters further away from each other and slanted slightly.  I later realised that this was not the look I was looking for on the contents page.

This is my final title for my contents page, I have chosen this style of font because it is simplistic and I adopted the simplistic approach for my magazine as I thought it looked the most mature.  The colour is green because it blends well with the background colour in the front cover as well as the image used for the contents page and it is easily readable on the contents page.
