The 'XXL' logo is used to keep consistency throughout the pages but to make it obvious what magazine it is.

Issue date of the magazine to show when it was released to identify if readers are up to date.

There is not a title that labels this the contents page which is rare, instead there is another title about 'the a-side'.

The 'features' uses a larger and different font to the rest of the page which makes it obvious it is a title

The quote on the left hand side is not common for the contents page which makes the magazine unique.

The model is wearing black which contrasts the white background but shows consistency with the title. The cream jeans contrasts the black upper body clothing.

Subheadings are in bold to confirm they are titles, and it is easy to identify.

The background is white which draws out the model seeing as the model is wearing black, using a darker background would not draw as much attention to the model.

The banner at the bottom uses the same colours as in the title which shows consistency.
