LINEAR WIPE
What is Linear Wipe?
Linear Wipe is when one person is in the same video but not using a split screen. It is sometimes used in films where the same actor/actress is playing more than one character.

How To Make A Linear Wipe
We imported the video clips in which we had chosen to use in the linear wipe. The first video was of Natasha in a room by herself talking to a chair which will be where Natasha walks in during the second video to respond to her talking. We cropped both videos to where we wanted them to begin and where we wanted them to end. We then placed the two videos in different layers, with the second clip on top of the first clip.
We then searched for the 'linear wipe' tool, which helped to split the videos apart but keeping them in the same frame. We then selected the second video as this is the one that we wanted to split apart, we then scaled it to an appropriate size where both videos fitted in. We also used the feather tool so it was less obvious that we had put different videos together.
Below is our final video of our linear wipe.
